  • 1917, December 16-17 - The First Dobrudja National Assembly is held at Badabag and announces the ascension of the entire region to Bulgaria.

  • 1917, Dec 22nd - Negotiations begin between Russia and the Central Powers.

  • 1918, Jan 8th - US president Wilson outlines his 14 points.

  • 1918, Jan 10th - The Third Bulgarian Army is transferred from the Prut and Serets front to the Macedonian front, provoking a mutiny.

  • 1918, Feb 9th - The Central Powers recognize the Ukrainian People’s Republic.

  • 1918, Feb 18 - Mar 3rd - After peace negotiations with Russia broke down, the final Central Powers offensive in the east takes huge swathes of Russian land as the country is embroiled in chaos.

  • 1918, Feb 27th - After the Central Powers threaten to resume the war, the Romanian government agrees to begin negotiating a peace treaty.

  • 1918, May 30th - The People’s Liberals party leaves the governing coalition, depriving it of its majority.

  • 1918, Jun 6-9th - A mutiny breaks out in the 27th Chepinski Regiment.

  • 1918, Jun 13th - The Provisional Siberian Government is formed in Omsk.

  • 1918, Jun 20th - Prime Minister Radoslavov resigns over his failure to obtain all of Dobrudja in the Peace of Bucharest.

  • 1918, Jun 21st - A minority cabinet of the Democratic and Radical Democratic Party (headed by Alexander Malinov) is appointed with the support of the People’s party, Progressive Liberal Party, BZNS, and the broad socialists. The government announces that it will improve supplies for the military and population and to combat corruption.
